Global Taekwondo Academy, founded in 2021, is proudly located at 6700 Derry St, Harrisburg, PA 17111. Our mission is to inspire and empower individuals through the teaching and promotion of the art of Taekwondo. Building on the incredible success of our 1st Inner School Championship, we are thrilled to continue this tradition by hosting yet another remarkable event.
We are excited to take this event to the next level. With great pride and anticipation, we officially announce the Global Taekwondo Academy 2nd Inner School Championship which will take place on January 18th, 2025 at 5610 Derry St, Harrisburg, PA 17111. We currently have 7 schools registered to participate in this grand event, from Pennsylvania and Ohio.
The event is being presided over by the esteemed Grandmaster H. K. Lee from Herndon, Virginia, who will serve as the Chairman of the event. Additionally, the competition will be officiated by Master Kumar Karki from Baltimore, Maryland, who will take on the role of Referee Chair.
This exciting event brings together Taekwondo athletes from surrounding cities and states to compete in 2 events. Kyorugi, which is Olympic style sparring, and Poomsae, which is Traditional Forms.
The purpose of our championship is to provide a platform for participants to demonstrate their skills, encourage personal growth, and strengthen the sense of community. With a focus on discipline, respect, and perseverance, our event aims to foster healthy competition while reinforcing the sport’s mission of developing both the physical and mental aspects of Taekwondo.
Global Taekwondo Academy CEO, Prakash Dhungana said on the press meet this Tuesday that there will be 100 plus participants from 7 different schools from Ohio and Pennsylvania.
