On 09 Mach, historical event “DELC Kidney Walk” took place at Birds Trial Park Irving Texas in USA organized by Dallas Everest Lions Club(DELC) with the motto of helping kidney victims who are really poor women and children in Nepal.
DELC someway represents as a sister organization of “AAROGYA PRATISTHAN Nepal(आरोग्य प्रतिष्ठान) where Ani Choyang Drolma(Nepali famous singer) is the president, Dr. Kulchandra Gautam (former deputy secretary of UNMIN) and Madha Krishna, Haribamsa(Famous actors) are the members. Through this organization DELC utilizes the donation they gather for those needy.
“The help is targeted especially for women in Nepal, its because they are not rich enough for its treatment and other thing is that culture is so developed out there is that men are liable to get kidney donation and required treatment but instead women are to become homeless” said prof. Prabhat Dixit one of the responsible organizer of the event. In fact its noble beginning for the positive change and great example of humanity.
